HOW TO USE IT  simple instructions for easy use SO BEGINS

In nature fertile soil rarely exceeds  a 30 centimeter layer.  In order to grow most varieties of vegetables (or flowers) you can use a 30 centimeter-height container, provided the topsoil has sufficient thermal and water inertia. In fact, stable humidity and temperature are key factors for plants.

This is why vegeTable® has the best characteristics to grow many small vegetables, pot plants and flowers. A correct drainage is very important. In order to obtain this you should pour a 7-10 centimeters layer of inert material such as expanded clay or volcanic lapillus into the S-1 bag. (You can find everything you need in any nursery, agriculture store, hardware store or DIY centers).

NB: You have to put the inert inside the bag by fistfuls (using gloves) or with a small shovel, spreading it starting from the long edges sides of the bag in order to put it in balance, that will be finally consolidated adding the soil (use double-sided tape to help you to position the bag).

It is essential to choose the right topsoil depending on the type of vegetables or flowers you intend to plant. In nature, under-layers are classified according their acidity and compactness: there are acidic or basic soils, sandy or clay soils, humus  etc..

When cultivating inside the vegeTable®, it is very important to pay attention to composition of appropriate topsoil mixtures. By choosing the most appropriate topsoil for your vegetables or ornamental plants you will have the best result. For example a fresh and soft soil is obtained by mixing a significant amount of sand with a good natural compost...

In order to optimize your cultivation a good irrigation is crucial. Keep in mind that no plants like stagnation. Therefore a good drainage, optimized by a 7-10 centimeter layer of inert material (expanded clay or volcanic lapillus) placed at the bottom of your S-1 bag, will help plants to flourish.

At the bottom of the bag there are two heat-sealed nozzles to open and close anytime you want. Use them! Also, you can recycle any extra water by collecting it inside a watering can to place right under the vegeTable® with its nozzles opened.

A correct watering is essential. Water needs change during the chain of growth depending on phases and paces of growth; usually, it reaches its highest and lowest peaks in the beginning and at the end of cultivation.

Plants with different water needs should not be kept in the same block. Also, by using a small water timer (en electro-mechanic or, even better, an electronic timer) you shall guarantee the correct watering even when you are not there - as it often happens in summertime.

Light and water are known to be basically everything a plant needs to grow. In order to have the best lighting it is necessary to place your vegeTable® correctly, but much will change depending on the local climate.

Fertilizer is used to increase soil's nourishing elements necessary to plants, for their growing and nutritional needs: depending on how much from those elements is released into the soil, the harvest will change. Try to use quality fertilizer and as natural as possible!
